It's a fine line....

It's a very fine line between 2-4 and 5-1. Is it the program in general? Dome and domer debate it.

  1. Hate to pile on but Ed's comment about being "Sackless" is right on the money. Kelly is a tool, but we have had worse. Go Irish!

  2. Guys, Stop dancing around it. "Fine line between 2-4 and 5-1?" No! Not even close. This IS a BAD football team. Yes, a lot of the blame falls on BVG. But the very fact his ass wasn't left on the tarmac in Palo Alto OR after the Fiesta Bowl is SUCH a HUGE indictment on Kelly and his inability to adapt. We saw the man (BK) adapt and evolve one (just one) season and we went undefeated in the regular season. Immediately following this, he went back to his video-game ways, recklessly flinging the ball all over the damn place and completely neglecting toughness in the trenches. And Ed touched on this, but he failed to go further: We are a finesse team through and through with NO power and toughness in the trenches to balance it out. Our bally-hooed OL SUCKS. As good as Kizer is, do you honestly believe that we'll be able to move the ball against a good defense--particularly one that defends the pass?? It's Year 7 under this guy!! Whatever improvements there have been since the Weis era, THEY'RE NOT ENOUGH. I firmly believe BK is a worse coach than when he started here. He's worn the f..k out! For better or worse,it's time to cut the cord.

  3. This team is simply horrible and Kelly throws them under the bus. What a deplorable coach. Program is headed nowhere fast..

  4. A buddy of mine takes pics for Big 12 Sports Almanac and he was on the sideline for the Texas game... He told me the ND O and D were quite chippy with each other at that game. Seems there may be division within the team...
