  1. Mike, I'm a '57 classmate of your Father's (Bill Thees' brother in law) so sat through many games among your family.

My son told me about your podcast and I heard it this morning. Listening to you and the others talk about Notre Dame has helped my son, Joe, make life feel a little more like home while he and his family are in mission working at a children's home in Mexico. My wife and I, along with one of the grandson's, Woody, who is a sophomore at Loyola High in L.A. and wants to go to ND, are leaving on Wednesday to spend 12 days with them. It will be fun keeping up with the NCAA tournament with you. Thanks from all of the Santos.

    Joe

  2. Hi Joe,

This is Mike Brammer, Mike Sullivan is traveling the next few days, but I'll forward this on to Ed, who I also consider my Father. Truth be told, I'm his favorite son but Mike is a very close second, tied with his brother Ed. Thanks for listening. Go Irish!

  3. Enjoy your shows...

I am in the Raleigh Area... UNC is a bear... However, I like Harangody match up with Harsbrough... The only issue is that UNC is basically playing home.. Granted, that is sweet 16 and they have 2 tough games.. Do not overlook Washington State... Most think they come out of this region to play UNC...

My concern for the Irish is that they are 17-0 at home and 7-7 elsewhere.... from the N&O "Bad road teams, don't last long in March"

As far as UCONN getting a 4 seed... They did not play as well as ND at home, but UCONN had an excellent road record...They had a great stretch in where they beat quite a few teams (including some quality road victories) without Doug Wiggins 6th man & Jerome Dyson (at that time the 2nd leading scorer) due to rules violation...
Again, it is a coin flip with 4/5... Do you want UNC or UCLA? I think UCLA is much scarier in a better conference. ACC had 2 teams...

It should be fun.. Go Irish... Go Big East.. Heck.. Go Huskies..
