For the first time in a long time, the Irish finish the season on the upswing. Brian Kelly gets high marks for finishing the season strong, under difficult circumstances.
I also happened to catch a few of the OTHER bowl games so far, most noteably Tulsa/Hawaii.
Devarius Johnson (previously unknown to me) was an absolute animal in this game as they stomped Hawaii. I think the Irish schedule this year, judging by how many of the teams played in bowl games turned out to be alot more difficult than what the media gave credit for.
Kind of bummed to see the season end, but bottom line is, at least this off season, there's some realistic high hopes for next fall.
