Is an upset brewing against USC?

Are the Irish in danger of being upset in a rivalry game against USC? Stranger things have happened.

  1. instead of Clark Lea, maybe we should look at Dave Clawson is mentor as a future coach.

  2. i just don't like hiring someone without head coach experience. It simply has not worked @Notre Dame.
things change year to year, but my guess is you need to at least interview Skip Holtz

  3. last time in 2017 they came in and got whacked 49-14, expect a similiar type of game.

    1. Great win. Great toughness. We responded each time we had to in the 2nd half. Great play calling.

  6. Would like to hear your thoughts on Michigan game, I really like the timing of the game getting the after a buy and they have Penn State

  7. Yes Indeed.... I'm really liking the MU game timing. The PSU Knitting Kittens should soften up Harblow's disgrace of a team.

  8. Surprised were a touchdown underdog to Michigan?

    1. I was thinking it would be even. Since home team always gets 3 points, even seemed likely. But 7 point underdog? Seriously? What exactly has Michigan done this year to indicate that?

  9. if we beat the skunkbears do you think 11-1 is probable?

    1. Probable? No. Doable? Yes. BC scares me. Stanford will have nothing to play for except to salvage the entire season by beating us. 11-1 would be a huge accomplishment for BK. Amazing if he pulls it off.

  10. I see a lower scoring game, something like 21-17.
turnovers as always will be key, but more importantly will we stop the run? I have more confidence in our offense than UM.
If we limit their rushing attack and win the TO stats we should be ok

    1. Agree 100%. We're the better offensive team, question is, can we win TO battle and do we continue to dominate inside Red Zone. Just need to play our game mistake free and we'll win.

  11. My thinking is that if we are good enough to handle Michigan, then i see us being good enough to win the last five games, in fact winning all in impressive fashion.
It appears we are on the verge of a very special season again

  12. U gonna have a Michigan show?

  13. I believe you're correct about BC. Even back in September I was very concerned about that game. BC always plays ND with reckless abandon, and a win would prop up their coach (using the term loosely) greatly. Watched the 2011 ND vs. Skunkbears replay today on cable TV. Was thee first night game in the Big House, but announcer "Burnt Cheeseberger" was sickeningly biased for MU. Damn good team that was, Tommy Reese looked cool as a ice, had K. Rudolf too I believe, & Cierre Wood. ND got up to a quick 14-zip lead with an offense that was really clicking, w/ lots of speed. Although MU stole the game with seconds left. If ND plays 100% all 4 quarters Sat., I believe they should beat those bums handedly.
