Irish will be improved, or exposed?

It's likely there are one of two scenarios playing out against Wisconsin. Either we continue to make great strides and improve in the areas we need to, or Wisconsin will expose the weaknesses that are currently plaguing this Irish team. Tommy Reese is going to have to come up with some plays to break us out.

  1. I love the optimism,. Hopefully Irish can stay unbeaten.
Our 4 the game is a plus especially with them off two weeks.

  2. Turnovers are such a key,. We have the better playmakers hopefully our line comes of age it is week four.

  3. Maybe Hamilton can be the difference but I look for Bucky to play close to the vest, and not turn it over.
We need guys like Lenzy and Austin to be difference makers along with our superstars Mayer and Williams and Three
If our offensive line can just play average we could really showcase our talents

    1. were 7 point underdogs for a reason, we have a below average offensive line and a defense that at times looks average. we have the talent but just are not very good up from on offense. Austin drops passes as a senior. I hope your right just gotta see better play.

  5. Wisconsin is similiar to navy in that they have the philosophy of controlling the clock quick start is important, they are gonna limit our possessions
expect low scoring old school football maybe something like 20-14 Irish

  6. I didn't expect the blowout but what a great day for the Irish. 31 points in the 4th quarter,. We're for real
Hopefully we can stay healthy with our offensive line play

  7. Great analysis guys, I thought we could lose listening to the national media, until you all picked the Irish.
If our offensive can get it together do you see another trip to playoffs?

  8. Does Cincinnati really recruit anywhere near us? How are they gonna be able to handle our playmakers? We had
31 points in the fourth quarter today

    1. If they handle them just like Wisconsin did for 3 Qtrs, it will be a breeze!! By the end of the season all our Quarterbacks will be sacked to a pulp, given our current Offensive Line personnel. 31 pt 4th Qtrs don't grow on trees.

  9. Every week will be a Improved or Exposed week until the Irish offensive line drastically improves.

  10. Reality is setting in with me, we have a tremendous team but a very below, simply terrible offensive line. The sad part is we really have great skill everywhere including our line but the preparation is horrendous. I don't know Quinn s background but he s just not getting something right, whether it his philosophy or simply communication skills i just dont know. I'm concerned about the health of our QB's and RB s. The Offensive line is gonna get players hurt. We can win any game because of our talent we have but can also lose any game because of this line. were really fortunate to be 4-0.

  11. relying on defensive turnovers with no running game will catch up to us soon, Kelly really needs to take over the offensive line ASAP, the inexperience doesn't bother me I expect growing pains with the inexperience but our fundamentals are poor. Cant fault the kids, the effort is obvious they simply are being put in a bad situation

  12. Is it time to part ways with line coach Quinn? respected football people I know say its him not the inexperience.

    1. Interesting! Perhaps ND will be the 1st NCAA Div I team to play there? The BYU's currently sitting at No. 13. ND leads the all-time series 6-2, not sure when they last met nor who won.

  14. Interesting! Will ND be the 1st NCAA Div I team to play there? Not if there's a Bowl game there this season I guess. ND leads the series vs. the BYU's 6-2. Most recently, Tommy Rees out-dueled Taysom Hill in a 23-13 Notre Dame win on Nov. 23, 2013. I vaguely do recall that game.
