Freeman Era begins. Will it start with a win?

Lots of issues going on for the game, but can Freeman handle all the distractions and focus the team on the task at hand? Plenty of emphasis on this game but in the end, does it really matter much in the grand scheme of things?

  1. I rather liked the discussion of how the Kelly era might be changed by the Freeman era ... one could be the placement of last names on the back of jerseys for this Bowl game to continue into the 2022 season.

  2. I'm more concerned how we lost the game than anything. The learning curve will be 2-3 years. Notre Dame seems to never learn from history, ND football is not the place for an inexperienced head coach.
I typically agree with most of your comments but I'm not onboard with this hire. 5 straight years of double digit wins, watch how fast we go back to 6-6 or 7-5.

  3. why not interview Wake Forest coach Clawson? the players seem to love Marcus, but its obvious he is in over his head watching the 2nd half of the game. Wish him the best as I did Gerry Faust, Davie and Weis but this isnt gonna be good

  4. hopefully we can regroup from the collapse @the Fiesta we need to get an identity on offense or the tOSU game will be ugly.

  6. very positive week, hiring of Harry Heistand solidifies what should be an outstanding offensive line next year (Patterson coming back), ND is gonna really be good on both sides of the line of scrimmage.
If the receivers come through and Buchner is the real deal, look out..... 2022 could be really special.
