Big underdog or Big upset?

Irish delivered the kind of win they needed against New Mexico. Is there a chance at Georgia or is it too big of a task?

  2. Look for ND offensive line to impact the game, I still can't believe people underestimating our offensive line,
Sure its gonna be big boy football but I like both teams offensive lines, Brian Kelly/Chip Long will move the football/chains, just two really good teams, will depend on execution and who doesn't turn it over

    1. I'd agree whoever wins the line of scrimmage will most likely win the game, as is usually the case in college football. In these big games, anything can happen. We definitely have the coaching to win this. Should be a great game.

  3. Were averaging over 50 a game, (so are they)
Were 23-3 since our game two years ago, I really think ND finds a way to win as long as we don't turn it over.

    1. If we don't turn it over, we'll win. Tough ask, but that would be one damn good sign to go down there and not turn it over in an environment like that. Place will be rocking at 8pm.

  4. Great analysis guys - Two good points you brought up were similar to my thoughts all week: Ed's "What does coach Kelly have to lose" (right - & hopefully he realizes this and he coaches much looser than normal); and Mike B's reference to what can happen in college football when players get psyched with high emotions and really believe they can pull off an upset. I believe to pull this one off, BK has to rev his players up & erase any doubt left in their minds. I read ND has won their last 10 games played in September. I didn't believe it, but checked & it appears so. I think the game just prior to those 10 was the 2017 Georgia game with ND losing by just 1 point. I just hope ND's game plan involves directing the ball FORWARD DOWN THE FIELD, vs. last week whereby ND's Off coach thought the goal line was located at either the East or West sidelines, throwing & running the ball sideways as if they were totally unaware that a GOAL LINE actually existed STRAIGHT AHEAD OF THEM. It WILL be rockin - definitely Game of the Week.

  5. Well, it's hard to critique the O game plan last week when they score 66 points, but I get what you're saying. I'm confident the coaching staff will put together a winning game plan. It just comes down to execution on the field. Can our players play their best game of the year? Possibly

  6. Notre Dame proved last night we are at an elite level, sit back and enjoy the season, wouldn't surprise me if a rematch with georgia in CFB playoff is coming.

    1. Brian Kelly deserves all the credit in the world for resurrecting this program to a level we haven't seen since the Holtz days. Coaching staff were phenomenal putting these kids in a position to win the game with the final drive in the 4th Qtr.
