Can the Irish rush for a win?

Notre Dame continues to improve, but can they beat Cincy without a rushing attack? Look for 150 yards to be the over/under on an Irish win. Expect a lot from backup QB whether it's Buchner or Pyne.

  1. Tough day for the Irish losing to #5 team Cincy
Time to move on to Buchner and Pyne our offensive line is so inept my hope is the injuries don't mount with everyone in the backfield.

  2. Why does anyone think Coan is a solid QB? Time to move on, granted the offensive line is horrible but Coan only magnifies the issues

  3. We're such a talented team, just can't showcase our tale t when out line is so pooper with technique. We really need to move on from Quinn, another friend like BVG that is in over his head

  4. I respectfully disagree that Coan is a great QB. He is very average and has no business taking the development time of our younger talent. This has been going on a month now, we need to part ways.

  5. With this inept line we may lose out potentially
I m now thinking 8-4 may be a better reality.

  6. I am simply amazed at the offensive line, why in 2021 can we be so inept up front? I m not talking average, just how are we so I'll prepared? This line is making everything near it below average

    1. tim prister at Blue and Gold apparently said this will be the last year for Jeff Quinn

  7. It's gonna be really hard to win 6 of these last 7 games against unranked opponents and finish 10-2
We look like an 8--4 type team

  8. The Coan experiment needs to be over, great person and hit character individual that is a terrible fit with this current poor offensive line.

  9. As talented as Kevin Austin can be why does he drop. Crucial passes? Let's play the young kids to prepare for opener with Ohio state in 2022

  10. we still have an outstanding season in front of us, with no ranked teams an 11-1 season is certainly possible.
I agree we need to move on from Coan, great story but he just not as good as the other younger QB's

  11. We ve just won 26 of the last 27 at home, fans and supporters need to relax and support the Irish. We lost to the #5 team in the country during a rebuilding year. Were gonna be fine I think 10-2

  12. I don't understand why Coan and Madden are getting any playing time, it undermines the players development and program. We knew it would be a sort of rebuilding year but watching Quinn and his offensive line preparation is simply not fair to the success of the program the last four years

  13. its my understanding from my sources Pyne will be taking over the QB duties Saturday with V.Tech
I see a big difference in our offense with him, this is a step in the right direction with the 2021 season

    1. The mere fact that Brian Kelly DID NOT say Coan is our guy and always has been on Monday pretty much was a clear sign change is coming. I do think this game will define the rest of the season. If Pyne can handle Va Tech on the road, he can handle the rest of the schedule.
