Irish face stiff test against Clemson

Irish need to be disciplined and creative offensively. In-game adjustments could be the difference for the Irish to have a chance of beating Clemson.

  1. It’s obvious we are a different team at home, it’s a big game but at home we simply aren’t very good. Realistically we’re probably a 7-5 team Hope I m wrong

    1. This team could win out and finish 10-3. Trust the process and improvement each week.

    2. If you look closely at the play at home and away it’s more about the caliber of teams we were playing. When it’s a decent team the guys are ready to play. If it’s a mediocre team they are not. I think it’s more of a maturity issue than where it’s played.

  2. The only chance I see with a win is if our offensive line can control the game, With Estime. Hopefully a 21-17 type win

    1. We controlled the game with the line. Along with every other aspect

    2. I didn’t expect this dominance , but the O line was exceptional. Harry has done a great job with the kids this year.

  3. Why does a new coach mean we have to lose games? No reason whatsoever we aren’t 7-1 SC didn’t drop off they got better with a new coach, same with Ohio State tennessee etc….
Freeman was given a Bentley, some of these losses are inexcusable
The fact we are horrible at home is coaching. We should win this game vs Clemson, the talent at home at night

    1. Sometimes change can be good but their is a learning curve. Brian is a good job of expectations and upgrading the program from the Weis era. Marcus will be fine but it’s gonna take some time to get where he envisions the program in 3 years

  5. I respectfully disagree, Notre Dame should handle this team up front.
If we can establish a good running game it should be similar to the Syracuse game.

  6. I m not overly impressed with Clemson, we should be able to take care of business

  7. I believe 5 minutes of self flagelation is in order for you two.

  8. how did you know ND would handle them up front? thye had NFL guys on the Defensive line

  9. Navy has stopped the run extremely well all year. ND should be able to run the ball but we need to have some kind of a passing attack. Mayer is a mismatch for anything Navy tries in defense.
