Irish handle Miami of OH. Is Louisville a must win?

Irish take care of business against Miami of OH. Can they overcome Louisville?

  1. Respectfully I disagree with your theme in todays podcast
We have three people averaging over 7 yards per carry, (which includes our QB) and a really tough defense giving up less than 10 ppg I still think we will get to an 11-2 record with a pop tarts bowl win.
Is that really that bad? I love ND football but the negative boo birds are just a terrible reflection with the culture of the school.
How about getting behind the team and realizing it’s a special season potentially? I realize the students are young and feel entitled but we’re pretty good, to many ND followers create a negative theme

  2. Unfortunately for us Jeff is probably a top 5 head coach in CFB, It’s just because he s been at Purdue amd Louisville that few people realize what Marcus and the boys are up against this Saturday.
I think we win a close one like 27-21
But it’s gonna be tough, not because of effort or lack of preparation on our part, but because of Jeff and his staff.

  3. I see a 28-17 type Irish win, I have a lot of confidence in our defense and potential of our running game.
This guy can coach, I still find it hard to believe we couldn’t have interviewed a guy like Jeff or Cignetti
for the job three years ago.
But that ship sailed amd need to support Marcus as he continues to evolve into a great coach.

  4. My analysis is we’re about 10-15 th ranked team which is kinda where we recruit most years Pretty good but probably not elite,
That was a nice win vs Louisville and we need a bye week to get healthy

Congrats to the team on another win

  5. I m still puzzled again why we went for first down late in the game, Our defense is playing pretty good ball and we’re up 10, why not give them a long field?
Instead of losing momentum and potential to lose the game

  6. Big shout out to Al Golden, He does a really good job, I just wish the Irish faithful would understand what we have is “Golden”.
Hopefully we can keep him around the next 10 years as a defensive mainstay.
