Virginia is no Texas.

Irish will be challenged this weekend. Virginia has a solid QB unlike Texas. If he gets hot, it could present problems.

  1. it's good to have superior athletes but they have to still have to ;burst forward with superior effort to demolish the weak and any let up or assumption can be fatal..

  2. These are the types of games where you learn a lot about the character of the football team. They will face adversity today and it'll be interesting to see how they respond. Will they back into a win or take control and drive it home at the end?

    1. Prophetic words Mike. I was so happy to see them win, but next week will be an even bigger challenge.

  3. ND was lucky they were playing Virginia Saturday. If they were playing Clemson, there would have been an offensive penalty call on that Kiser to Fuller TD play.

  4. Mike this is Dirty from Dillon. I really enjoy the podcasts. Anytime you guys need an update on Boob Davie let me know. I am bummed out with the early injuries to key players. Hopefully we get can through the next few games unscathed.

  5. Dirty!!!! What's up???? Great to hear from you. Going to any games this year? I'll be at Ga Tech tomorrow. Weather will be a factor in game for sure. Irish need 250 yards on the ground or we'll lose.

    1. Definitely need to play more conservative with the new QB. I may make a bowl game this year. I want to get back to the Bend next year for sure. Like you, I was a huge Greg Bryant fan and I am just hoping that Prosise and Adams can take the pounding. Wish I was going to be there tomorrow as well! Tell Sully, Ed , and Murph I said hello.
